Jens Friis has a MA in History of Art from University of Aarhus, Denmark. His personal interest in photography led him to active membership of the selection committee for exhibitions in Gallery Image in Aarhus and for a number of years he has also worked in the commercial gallery Hamiltons in London selling photographic art works. Furthermore he has lectured in Visual Communication and History of Photography at the High School for Journalism in Aarhus and recently contributed to the newly published book on Danish photographic history.

Since 2003 he has been the executive editor of KATALOG – journal of photography and video published by Museet for Fotokunst, Odense. He is also a curator of exhibitions at aforementioned museum, currently gathering material for the Odense Foto Triennale 2006.

J. F. is interested in all shapes of photography and visual arts. He will discuss your work and give you advice on how to develop as an artist. He could facilitate publication in the magazine KATALOG or exhibition in the Museet for Fotokunst.
