Fujifilm Euro Press Awards 2004

The exhibition will last from February 25th until April 4th, 2004
Opening hours: daily from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. except Mondays

Photography plays an all-important role in all our lives - whether recording personal events, entertaining us, or even influencing our lifestyles.
Yet it is through the lens of the photojournalist that photography achieves its most profound effect. Often captured under dangerous conditions, or drawn from the most heart-rending of circumstances, the work of the photojournalist goes further than any other to bring the tapestry of human emotion and social change into our hearts, minds and homes.
For the last eleven years Fujifilm has been rewarding the work of photojournalists through the European Press Photo Awards. Drawn from work submitted to national competitions and culminating in a pan-Euroepan presentation in a major capital city, the Awards go further than any other competition towards recognizing the unique skills and attributions of the photojournalist's craft.
If your speciality as a photographer is in this all important area, then we would very much welcome your participation in Awards. Easy to enter, and with substantial prizes across four international categories, the prestige for the winners - not mention photojournalism as a whole - is immeasurable.
