Jana Hojstričová.
Jana Hojstričová has created a cycle of black and white photographies which express in different time and formal movements an intimate toilet of woman. The theme often varieted in history of arts is being projected more from a point of view of a man. Photographies of Jana gain new dimension by subjective view, personal experience, which is thereafter introduced into the photographies using the body of the performer. Every move of woman, stopped moments of purity or even macrodetails of intimate still lives evoke sometimes atmosphere of strong concreteness of act and sometimes just anticipation of intimate women´s activity.

Jana Šebestová.
Jana Šebestová in her cycle of black and white portraits with the name „Faces“ takes photos of women´s faces without name, without age, without milieu. She is interested in specific face expression, she is not interested typical mimicry, or pretending emotional hidden meaning of the one being portrayed. The author intents on basic primary face expresion and as she claims she preferes faces which captivates attention „at second sight“. Under introductory ambiguity there is - especially in expresion of eyes - hidden inner expresivity which comes from certain life expreciences of every woman.
